Dr. Anand Muthuvelrajan is an Orthopaedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the spine and joint replacement with particular expertise in Primary and Recovery in Knee & Hip Replacement surgery. He is at present a Consultant Surgeon at Fortis Malar Hospitals, Adyar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu,South India.

Dr. Anand served as an Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Madurai in “Madurai Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology”  in the Department of  Traumatology & Joint Replacement under the guidance of Dr.Muthuvelrajan. He has been involved in the management of acute trauma patients in the emergency room. He has both assisted and independently operated acute fractures, Hip & Knee replacement surgeries. Dr. Anand developed considerable expertise in hip, spine and knee replacement surgery by additional study at several joint replacement centers in both the United States and Europe.
